Animating a ball

      Just like the title says, the freshman animation students animated a ball bouncing. well, actually, we made three animations.

Bouncing up and down

      It's a ball bouncing up and down. all we did was use the frame animation tool with multiple layers and looped it like this:

Oh great the GIF doesn't work properly and I can't attach an mp4 file to this post. lovely. well, here you go, it's a picture of a red circle over grass.

Bouncing from the side?

Ten word animation

       Today the e9 animation freshmen (I'm in animation now) worked on this blog post talking abut animating ten words to fit on a screen. here you go:

     This process was fairly simple, just using a move tool with the timeline tool in photoshop for the words to come onscreen. a simple first project, but it introduces the concept.
